Kerry and Nick met on a cold December, 17th night in Ballard. We shared an "Uber" together and ended up exchanging numbers; while Nick hardly waited until he got home to text Kerry. We set up a date for the following Tuesday night, and ended up talking for over 4 hours and barely eating any food, while realizing the restaurant was trying to close. On our first date, we discovered we had close mutual friends in common and should've met each other multiple times. On the second date, Kerry came over to go out for dinner, which turned into helping Nick wrap the rest of his Christmas gifts. It was that night that Kerry Met Nick's dog Choni, and Choni immediately became Kerry's biggest fan, and from the moment Kerry has been Choni's favorite human and dog-mom. After almost two months of going on dates and falling for each other more and more each time we hung out, we planned a road trip to California for Nick's birthday. We drove down and had so much fun, not even 6 hours into the trip, Nick asked Kerry to officially become his girlfriend. We were in love almost instantly from the beginning. It was on that trip, we knew there was something special. After a year and a half of dating and being ridiculously in love, Nick proposed to Kerry in Bali on July 1st, 2018. It was that day we officially knew we would get to spend the rest of our lives together. We are so excited we get to spend our lives together and cherish every moment together, and we couldn't be more excited to do it with all of our wonderful family and friends by our side for the future!
