Question

What is the dress code for the wedding day?

Answer

The dress code for the wedding is black tie. For men, that means a tuxedo - we would recommend The Black Tux (TheBlackTux.com) or Men's Warehouse, but there are plenty of other rental options. For ladies, that means floor length dresses. Ladies are encouraged to wear dresses with color, floral prints, etc (sun sets at after 8pm!) - black tie does not mean you need to wear black or dark colors, color is very encouraged! Shades of yellow are reserved for the bridesmaids. Note that the ceremony will take place on grass, so may be helpful to wear a block heel.

For women, attire can include summery midi or maxi length dresses, nice/appropriate short dresses, skirt sets, no jeans, no sneakers. Color is encouraged! White is reserved for the bride. Temperatures in East Hampton in June tend to be 60-70s degrees Fahrenheit (15-21 degrees Celsius). Temperatures can fluctuate and June can also see rain.
