The night club scene was just not working for either of us. Same faces, same stories until we both decided to take the online approach. After talking over the phone for a couple weeks, we were finally able to meet for brunch at Bill’s Cafe on Poughkeepsie in San Jose, CA. Rachid had never met anyone for brunch so he was taken by surprise when a straight forward girl suggested the idea. It was love at first brunch, literally! After our first date, we were inseperable for every weekend after that. The days merged into months and our relationship entered its first year as well as encountered a difficult decision. Rachid was offered a position in Phoenix, AZ and that meant he was tasked with the decision to either grow within the company and leave San Jose or to remain in San Jose. That also meant that he had to talk to me about his offer with the possibility of ending our relationship. Obviously that did not happen! Four years later, with a new babygirl we are ready to commit in marriage and navigate through this thing called life, together. We hope to see you all to celebrate!
