Where is the ceremony & reception?

Both the ceremony and the reception will be held at Bay Pointe Inn at their stunning Lakefront Pavillion Venue. Address is 11456 Marsh Rd, Shelbyville, MI 49344

When should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 PM EST. Please plan to arrive around 4:00 PM EST to ensure you have plenty of time to find your seat and settle in.

WHAT IS THE ATTIRE?
Answer
The dress code is cocktail to black tie optional. This means that tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are cocktail dresses and suits. No jeans, please! The ceremony will take place in a grassy area so ladies please take that into account when you are choosing your heels! Please feel free to bring sunglasses for the ceremony and to remove any jackets at any time you're too warm.

Can I bring a date?
Answer
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those who are formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Are kids invited?
Answer
We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event with the exception of immediate family. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night getaway!

Will there be an open bar?
Answer
Ofcourse!!! Our bar will be open for beer, seltzers, & wine! Mixed drinks available for cash.

Can I take pictures and/or videos during the ceremony?
Answer
We are having an "unplugged" ceremony (no phones or cameras). We have hired very talented professionals to capture this beautiful moment for us and our wish is for you to be fully present as we say "I do." We will make sure to share lots of pictures and videos with you after the wedding! However, after the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like!

Is there a hotel block?
Answer
Yes! We have a hotel block at our venue, Bay Pointe Inn. Our room block link is located in the 'travel' section! We understand this room block may not be accommodating for all, so we have also provided nearby hotels as well!

When should I RSVP by?
Answer
Kindly RSVP by May 1st, 2025. If you cannot attend, we will miss you, and appreciate you letting us know at the soonest opportunity!
