The couple met in Amanda's first class in PT school at Rutgers University, where Chris just happened to be a Teacher's Assistant. The two hit it off at the end of semester celebratory party and the rest is history!

Little did Amanda know that a simple picnic at Turkey Swamp Park would end up being the best day of her life! Chris set up a day that was unforgettable. It started with a walk in the park to a (pre-chosen) spot next to the lake to have a picnic. A few minutes went by, and Chris asked Amanda to join him by the lake. A lot of tears and hugs later, the two were engaged!! Chris' cousin Colin was there the whole time capturing the moment. As if one surprise wasn't enough- Chris and both of their families surprised Amanda with an engagement party afterwards. A fairytale day!
