What time should we arrive to the ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony begins at 4:30 pm. We kindly ask that you arrive 30 minutes early.

What is the dress code?
Answer
Semi-formal, cocktail attire, garden party chic. Picture an enchanted forest garden—whimsical, romantic, and full of charm. We envision a beautiful celebration filled with bright and cheerful colors. The venue has grassy areas, so stilettos are not recommended. Bring your best dancing shoes and your biggest smiles!

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?
Answer
All of our wedding day events will take place outdoors at a beautiful venue on Padgett Lake. The reception area will have plenty of shade and fans to help keep everyone cool, and we’ll also provide handheld fans for the ceremony to help beat the heat. Please keep in mind that it can get quite windy by the water, so plan accordingly — especially when it comes to hairstyles!

Can we take pictures during the ceremony?
Answer
We ask that you please turn off your cellphones and refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. Let the professional photographer capture these special moments while you fully enjoy and share in the joy of this meaningful occasion. Thank you for your understanding.

What will the weather be like?
Answer
Average high temperatures around 86°F during the day and average lows around 74°F in the evenings.

How do we get to the wedding venue? Will transportation be provided?
Answer
There’s plenty of parking available at the venue for guests who choose to drive. We’ll also have two shuttle drop-offs and two pick-ups scheduled from the Hilton for your convenience. If you plan on drinking, we kindly ask that you use the shuttle or a rideshare like Uber — your safety means everything to us! The venue allows for you to leave your vehicle overnight if needed. Please get your vehicle by 10 am on Sunday.

We’re unfortunately unable to accommodate additional guests. We hope you understand and enjoy a fun night!

Can we bring our gift to the wedding?
Answer
Your presence is present enough, but should you wish to bring a gift to our wedding, there will be a gift table for your convenience, or you can visit our wedding registry.

Answer
Yes! We’ll have a full open bar with a selection of beer, wine, and cocktails for you to enjoy throughout the celebration. Cheers!

When will the reception end? Will there be an after-party?
Answer
The reception will wrap up at 10 PM, but the party doesn’t stop there! You're invited to join us for an after-party at a speakeasy-style bar located in the same plaza as the Hilton. To get in, head to the International Beer Garden and use the secret code "Cauchon" to enter BAB’s hidden lounge. See you there!
