We are so incredibly lucky to come from families with so many wonderful little ones, and we love them all dearly! However, as we began looking at our guest list and the space available at our venue, we realized we simply couldn't accommodate all the children in our lives. To keep things fair and within our limits, we have decided to host an adults-only (18+) celebration. We hope this allows you to relax and enjoy the evening with us, and we truly appreciate your love and understanding.
Please refer to your invitation—we’ve included all applicable names. We have limited spots and wanted to make sure all of our loved ones have a seat, so we weren’t able to extend plus-ones to everyone. We hope you understand and can’t wait to celebrate together!
We have hotel room blocks with preferred rates at the Elora Mill Hotel & Spa and the Best Western. The Elora Mill is a 30-second walk from the reception, while the Best Western is a 10-minute drive in Fergus. We also recommend The Ayrshire Hotel, just a 6-minute walk from the reception. Visit the Where to Stay tab for details, and be sure to mention our wedding when booking.
Yes! Please let us know in advance if you have any allergies or dietary restrictions. While meal selections will be made the day of (no need to choose in advance), we do need to be aware of any dietary needs ahead of time.
Following the ceremony at the Foundry, it’s a short 30-second walk across the bridge over the Elora Gorge (so pretty!) to the reception at the Granary at Elora Mill—upstairs in the Grand Room. Transportation is not provided, as everything is within walking distance. Parking is available next to the Foundry for guests making a day trip. For overnight guests, we recommend staying locally in town, so you can easily get around.
