A large gathering in an enclosed space? A party where the young and the chronological older but still young at heart get together? Guests flying in from all over the world? Holding hands and dancing in a circle? Plates of food being passed around for everyone to eat off of? If you are thinking this sounds like an increasingly questionable plan for 2020, we agree. We dearly value your health. We also value the health of your communities, including people who are especially vulnerable to COVID-19 and their caregivers. After careful consideration, we have decided to move forward with postponing our wedding date to June 12, 2021. Please know that we are incredibly grateful that we get to spend the rest of our lives together. Nothing like a pandemic to crystallize what really matters: our love for each other, the health of our loved ones, and consideration for those around us. Feel free to reach out to us with any questions. Use this time to practice your dance moves, we can't wait to celebrate with you in 2021!
It all started in the Summer of 2005 at the LMT pool, where Regina and her friends, including the Lubin's hung out. Jackie and Jessie previously went to Holy Trinity, so they knew the "Trinity Boys" who they decided to invite that day. This was Regina and Bill's first time meeting, so you would never think that following night Regina would log on to AIM and Bill would ask her to be his girlfriend...but, it happened. Thanks to a few people behind the scenes (Brandon, you know what you did), Regina said yes. I mean, it's grade school..where you basically share a snack with a boy and they're automatically your boyfriend, then all of a sudden your name with a heart is at the end of all of their away messages with a song lyric from a Howie Day sappy love song. Regina and Bill ended up going to Egan together, but then off to different colleges in which they worked hard to keep their relationship strong. Between all of the ups, downs, and miles driven between Penn State and McDaniel, in the end they ended up where they were meant to be. 14 years, a new city, new dog, and a million memories later, Bill decided to get down on one knee on May 11, 2019 and make forever official. We can't thank everybody in our lives enough, especially our friends and family, for the continued support and love we've had throughout the years. Our love has grown with the help of those surrounded by us, and we are so excited to celebrate this special day with you all. See ya'll in Nashville!
