All U.S. passport holders must apply for a UK Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) before traveling to Scotland. Auchen Castle is located near the town of Moffat, approximately 70 miles south of Edinburgh. Travel time is typically 1.5-2 hours, depending on traffic and weather.

Renting a car is the easiest and most flexible way to travel between Edinburgh and Auchen Castle, especially for guests staying overnight or planning to explore. Cars can be picked up directly at Edinburgh Airport or in the city center. Tip: If you know other wedding guests traveling around the same time, feel free to coordinate and split a rental car.

Uber and taxis are readily available in Edinburgh, but availability is very limited in Moffat.
