Jyra first noticed Carl in Grade 9, but had very little interaction. In Grade 10, they briefly became classmates in religion class and spoke casually before Jyra transferred out. Though they continued seeing each other around school, their connection remained distant. It was in grade 11, when they shared a social studies class, that their relationship truly began to develop. As they spent more time together, a genuine friendship formed, and their admiration for one another gradually deepened. Jyra courageously expressed her feelings first. Due to complicated circumstances, Carl initially hesitated. However, time and distance clarified his feelings, and he soon realized his affection for her was wholehearted. Without formal courtship, they chose to commit to one another. The beginning of their relationship was not without challenges, but they remained patient and steadfast. Through the years, they have grown together - supporting one another, overcoming hardships, and extending grace and forgiveness when needed. After thirteen years of love, growth, and unwavering commitment, Carl and Jyra look forward to beginning the next chapter of their lives together as they say "I do" on October 21, 2026.
