We met through work at Hy-vee together in Marshalltown. When I first met Dalton I could not stand how much he was always talking and complaining, but after working with him I slowly started to like him. I went and stole Dalton's phone number from the employee phone book at work, (which may I mention is not allowed), and texted him to see if he wanted to hang out with some of my friends and I. After hanging out and working together Dalton asked me to be his girlfriend on October 19th and I'm glad I said yes.

Dalton had everything all planned out for the special night but I of course had to put a little dent in the plans. Dalton told me that he had plans for us to go out to dinner to celebrate our two year anniversary and that he had a surprise for me. I was suppose to work out of town that day and be home in time for dinner but I decided to switch with a co worker so I had to close instead. Dalton was a little devastated but said we would still go out to dinner after I got off at 9. We went out to dinner and I kept bugging him asking him what my surprise was and when I was getting it. We got home and he said he wasn't giving me my surprise because the night did not go as planned. So of course I threw a little fit and left the room. When I came back Dalton started talking about our life together and how much he loved being with me and all of a sudden Dalton was down on one knee asking me to be his life long best friend. Of course I said yes and now here we are ready to start our crazy life together.
