Where will the ceremony/reception be held?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at the same venue! The Barn on Heartland Farm 2417 Fussell Road, Polk City, Florida Our ceremony will be held outside, and cocktail hour/ reception will be held immediately following in the barn!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

I would suggest arriving around 15-30 minutes before the start of the ceremony to ensure you have a place to sit before the ceremony begins. For those family members like parents/grandparents of the couple who may have special seating, someone will be able to direct you to your spots day-of.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are NOT registered. We are already established in our home, and would prefer a contribution to our newlywed/honeymoon fund in lieu of any physical gifts. We appreciate you guys SO much!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If you were given a plus one, absolutely. If not, I would suggest checking with the bride or groom to see if there is possibly an open spot that they could be added to. Unfortunately, the bride and groom do have a budget and adding extra people who were not already accounted for is not easy.

What if I was given a plus one and am not bringing anyone?

Answer

Then we please just ask that you let us know you will not be utilizing your plus one when you RSVP, so that we can take that extra person off the list or possibly give it to someone else who may want to bring someone and was not given a plus one originally.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Please just dress nicely! No shorts/jeans/t-shirts. If you want to follow a dress code, think daytime/afternoon cocktail or semi-formal. Keep in mind, our ceremony will be held outdoors in December.

Can I bring my child/children?

Answer

We kindly ask that you do not bring any children with you. We love your kids, however we are planning for our celebration to be child-free. We will be making a couple exceptions for immediate family of the bride and groom, including the bride's young brother. However, that is the only exceptions we will be making. As previously stated, the bride and groom have limited seating available and as much as we would love to have everyone's children present as well, it is just not doable as many of our friends and family have lots of little ones! We appreciate you being understanding! And I hope that we are giving plenty enough time to make proper arrangements to be able to enjoy our celebration with us!

Will there be food & drinks?

Answer

Of course! We will be having a buffet-style dinner during the reception and will be providing an open bar. There will absolutely be non-alcoholic and vegan options available as well, for those of our friends and family who are not drinkers and/or are vegan/vegetarian.
