Yes! Our venue has an auxiliary lot on property that should have plenty of space. However carpooling is always encouraged!
Yes, renting a car is highly encouraged. Gold Bar is away from the metro area of Seattle and there is limited access to Uber/Lyft and public transit.
Most vacation rentals will be a short drive. Gold Bar is a quiet small town and walking is possible but may not be the first choice getting to/from the wedding.
Please arrive at the venue at 3:30pm to find your seat for the ceremony. We can’t wait to see you!
Yes - the dress code is formal attire. We are hoping to create an elegant party! We would love to see ladies in midi/longer dresses and the gentlemen in jackets or suits. Please avoid jeans and bright colors and any white/ivory attire. Also- bring your dancing shoes! The weather could be a little chilly with some rain or wind so please bring a coat. Yes and yes! Dinner will happen shortly after cocktail hour. Our catering is a local wood fired pizzeria - please let us know when you RSVP of any dietary restrictions. Drinks are on us and will be available shortly after the ceremony. Outside alcohol isn’t allowed but we promise the open bar will keep flowing for some liquid courage in the dance floor.
Yes! We will be hosting a casual welcome party starting at 6pm at the venue on Friday 10/24. Please join us if you’re able but we also understand some may be flying in that evening. If you’re staying nearby we would love to see you! Food and drinks will be provided. If you know you’re able to make it, please RSVP and/or let us know via text if you decide to change your mind later on, so we can plan accordingly. See you there!
The ceremony will take place outside on the lawn outside the lodge and reception hall (also called the carriage house). The lodge itself is a large Airbnb where the bride and groom and some family and friends are staying for the weekend. There are no events taking place inside the lodge building itself - all events and restrooms for guests are in the outer buildings and access to the lodge is for the overnight guests only. The reception will be in the outside tented area and the carriage house/reception hall which are located right in front of the lodge. Don’t worry - we will have signage!
