Kindred spirit and soul sister from eternity, Vivian's devotion as a friend, passion as a woman, strength as an individual and unconditional capacity for love as a citizen of the planet, continues to be an example to me of grace and might! Vivian is a light on earth illuminating peace and warmth where ever she goes. Recently moving back to Southern California, we are blessed by her closeness and many more frequent mommy dates. We have missed you Angel Auntie Vy-vy. Thank you for being at my side, as I take this step in my expansion and expression. When you all meet Vivian on the wedding day, you will know of what I write.

Autumn's soon to be sister-in-law, Gabriel's youngest sister, Ceci is the closest thing I've met to an angel on earth. When you meet her at the wedding, you will feel her heart not only when she embraces you, but when she looks at you. Her love, peace and contentment are palpable. In the few visits Ocean and I have made to Cancun to visit our Mexican family, I have come to love Ceci like my own sister. We have had our share of tearful good-byes. It will be a very tearful hello when I see her again at the airport when she lands in L.A. How blessed I feel to have her walk the isle in my wedding party. And how grateful I am to become her sister-in-law! Con much amor, hermanita!

You will all want to meet Iris! While she can be the life of the party, toasting, dancing, laughing and celebrating, you can also sit down and easily connect with her on any subject. She is intelligent, traveled and fuerte. I first met Iris 4 years ago when she came to visit Garbiel and I in L.A. Gabriel warned me about her... he said we would be instant friends. Well, he was almost right. Only, we were instant sisters. We have spent many hours talking, laughing, crying, dancing, eating and enjoying life together. Ella es un mujer muy fuerte, bonita y passionate. I am so happy to have her grace the isle of our wedding procession, feeling her support and acceptance into the Carrillo family. For a Mexican woman, she is all Canadian to me!

Flower Girl
Vica is the delightful 3 year old daughter of Cecillia and Charlie Vega. She is a force to be sure. And no doubt she will be taking her duty as flower girl very serious. I have no doubt that the flower petals will be tossed (if not placed) exactly to her liking and design style. Her precision, focus, intensity and desire are highly developed for a young woman of 3! No doubt you will see her organizing, coordinating and showing her younger cousins all around the guests and grounds. There may in fact be a second wedding coordinator there. I am thrilled to have her at our wedding and so excited she wants to be a part of this momentous occasion.

An outstanding man of honor, integrity, simplicity and peace. Rai's friendship to Gabriel, Ocean and the family is a gift that enriches life. You won't miss Rai on the wedding day, since he towers at 6'3. And while he is a personal trainer, we know he is a giant teddy bear (though he doesn't actually fit in a teddy bear costume...but that's a story for cocktail hour). With Rai coming from Tahiti and Gabriel from Cancun, these two brothers from paradise have made up each other's American family. Rai's support, and responsiveness to any need or request, his joy for Gabriel's successes and regret for his struggles is the embodiment of true friendship. You are loved my brother.
