George Street Pub
Where it all began! We had our first date here on December 9, 2020. On a freezing Chicago winter evening, we sipped on beers out on the patio since the inside was closed due to Covid restrictions. Exactly three years to the day, friends and family waited here to celebrate after Jeff proposed!
The Magic Parlour
Jeff has seen this show four times, and Erin has seen it twice. We have brought family and friends, all of whom have left with their jaws on the floor. Dennis Watkins’ The Magic Parlour may be Chicago’s longest-running magic show, but it is also one of the city’s best kept secrets. The show runs Thursday - Sunday. Lincoln Park Zoo
We love to make a pit stop at the monkey house while going on walks through Lincoln Park. The zoo is free of charge and a great place to walk around on a sunny day!
Lakefront Trail
The lakefront path is a great way to experience Chicago summer! See the sights of the city while walking along the edge of Lake Michigan. We have walked many, many miles together on this path, and it is also where Jeff proposed!
Chicago Riverwalk
Right outside the hotels, the best spot for a walk with views of the many skyscrapers and architecture in the city!
Shoreline Architecture Boats Tours
One of the best experiences in Chicago to learn about the city and its rich architectural history. Seriously could go on it so many times and still learn something new. Plus it’s a fun ride down the river and serves beer!
Cubs vs. White Sox Game

Chicago Pizza and Oven Grinder Company
Incredible and unique old school spot. Pizza served in a “pot pie” style, only two options to choose from - meat or no meat. Get reservations ahead of time! And they are cash only.
