Bored from having Covid and the Flu back to back, Hayley downloaded Hinge. As she opened the app Matt was the easiest swipe right. Before our offical first date, Hayley and Matt planned an hour facetime which turned into both of them staying awake until the early hours of the morning talking. The instant connection and comfort that was felt by both was unbelievable. Our official first date proved this connection was not fickle. Shortly after our first date Matt went off to work at summer camp for the full summer. Hayley and Matt remained in contact throughout the summer. When Matt arrived back home there was no separating the two of them. Better yet, the three of them. Matt slowly became introduced to Hayley's son Hunter. Following Matt's return home, Hayley, Matt and Hunter slowly began to spend time together as a unit of 3 rather than 2. Matt thrived with having this "instant" family. Taking Hunter Trick-or-treating, holding him throughout multiple family dinners, and bringing the spirit of Christmas alive, it became clear that it was time for Matt to move in. Once Matt moved in, Hunter was given the choice to continue to call Matt, Matt or could call him daddy. (Matt was hoping for daddy but wanted Hunter to choose). From that day forth, Matt was a full daddy. Hayley and Matt's love for each other is as clear as the sunrise. It can be seen in how happy and loving Hunter is towards his family and friends. Constantly saying "I love you" unprompted and all of the cuddles, shows the power of a healthy, loving relationship. This wedding is more than just joining Hayley and Matt in a union, it's the complete union of a family.
