We technically met through a dating app… but if you ask either of us, we’ll both tell you this story was orchestrated by God. Just a couple of days after matching online, our conversations were limited due to busy work schedules. We hadn’t even gotten the chance to really talk when, the Saturday before church, I (Madison) was out and noticed someone across the way who looked exactly like Tyler. We locked eyes for a second — both of us seemingly thinking the same thing — but I looked away and went home, unsure if it was actually him. The moment stuck with me though… and I couldn’t stop wondering. The next morning, I was singing at church — something I only get the opportunity to do every three to four months, so it’s always special when it happens. Before the service, the band gathered to pray with our pastor in his office, and then we walked out onto the stage. As we stepped out, my eyes were immediately drawn to the back of the room — and there he was. Tyler. Sitting quietly, right in my line of sight. I remember it like it was yesterday… it truly felt like a light was shining on him. It was as if God whispered, “There he is.” When one of the worship team members introduced me to the congregation that morning, Tyler heard my name and knew — it was me. After the service, he walked straight up to me, smiled, and asked for my number. The very next day, we had our first date. What we thought would be a casual dinner turned into five hours of nonstop conversation, deep questions, laughter, and aligning our hearts and values. We both left knowing this was something different. Something real. We officially started dating on May 7, 2025, and just ten days later, we said “I love you.” Some might say that’s fast — but when God writes your love story, you just know. From that day forward, we spent nearly every day together. Everything about us felt like answered prayer — the kind of peace you can only feel when it’s heaven-sent. “At the right time, I, the Lord, will make it happen.” — Isaiah 60:22 (NLT) We believe with all our hearts that this is that time… and that this is the love God had in mind for both of us all along.
