We met in Manasquan in the summer of 2017 when we had shore houses a few steps away from each other. Through mutual friends, we ended up at the same house party (long live Pebble Beach) and the chemistry was instant. Over the years we stayed in touch, visited each other, and in late 2020 when we found ourselves living within a mile of each other, we began to grow closer than ever. We realized how much we aligned on the things that really matter, like how we'd want to raise a family and our long-term goals in life. In the summer of 2022 we made it official and became "boyfriend/girlfriend" and the rest is history :)

While out to dinner with some of my family, Dan started to make a toast thanking everyone for making him feel so included and part of the family. I looked at him in awe, still not realizing what was to come. That's when he looked over and said he had one more thing to say, and took my hand to walk me over to the front of the restaurant. It was then that he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him, in front of my family and a crowded restaurant, who all broke out in applause immediately. It was the best night of my life (the ugly-crying pictures say it all!).
