Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly ask that all guests submit their RSVP by June 10, 2026. This helps us finalize seating, catering, and all the little details that make the day feel special and seamless. Thank you so much for responding on time, we truly appreciate it!

Question

What should I do if I can’t attend?

Answer

If you’re unable to join us, please RSVP “no” at your earliest convenience so we can plan accordingly. We’ll miss you, but we genuinely appreciate you letting us know.

Question

Who do I contact if we're lost or running late?

Answer

If you need assistance on the day of the wedding either finding the venue or are running a bit behind, please reach out to our wedding coordinator, Sarah Ward. She’ll be available to help guide you and make sure you arrive smoothly on the day. Feel free to contact her directly at (831) 641-9067.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, please embrace garden romance, think elegant, effortless, and beautifully polished. We invite guests to wear garden party formal attire that feels romantic and comfortable in the August warmth. Think summer colors, flowing fabrics, and timeless silhouettes. Women may choose dresses paired with chic sunglasses and petite purses. Men are welcome in suits made from breathable fabrics, with ties being optional. As we’ll be moving across lawns and garden paths, stylish and comfortable footwear is encouraged. For color guidance, textures, and outfit examples, please see our "Guest Attire" page for full details.

Question

Should guests avoid wearing any specific colors?

Answer

Yes, we kindly ask guests to avoid wearing whites, creams, or any shades close to the bride’s palette, shades of red, and as well as black. Please also avoid outfits that predominantly are comprised of these colors. We want the overall look of the day to feel cohesive, romantic, intentional, and bright and we appreciate you helping us create that beautiful atmosphere.

Question

Is the ceremony outdoors?

Answer

Yes, our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will take place outdoors among the estate’s gardens and natural surroundings. Please plan accordingly for sun and evening breezes. August in the Santa Cruz Mountains is usually warm during the day and cooler in the evening. We suggest bringing a light layer to stay comfortable as the night unfolds.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you keep phones and cameras tucked away. We’re having an unplugged ceremony so everyone can be fully present with us. After the ceremony, feel free to take all the photos you’d like and feel free to share them with us!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We kindly ask that only the guests listed on your invitation attend. If a plus‑one was included for you, their name will appear on your invite. Thank you for understanding and helping us keep our celebration intimate and meaningful.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love the little ones in our lives, and you’ll see a few children included in our wedding. However, the rest of our celebration will be adults‑only. We kindly ask that only the children specifically named on your invitation attend. We want our guests to relax, be fully present with us, and enjoy the evening without needing to worry about little ones. Thank you for understanding and helping us create the atmosphere we envision for our day.

Question

Can I bring a gift to the wedding?

Answer

Yes - you’re welcome to bring a physical gift to the wedding, there will be a welcome table where gifts and cards can be placed. We also have a registry available, along with a newlywed fund for those who prefer to contribute in that way available on the "Registry" page. However you choose to celebrate with us, we’re truly grateful.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! We’ll be offering an open bar throughout the evening so guests can relax, celebrate, enjoy, and dance the night away with us.

Question

Do I need cash for anything?

Answer

You won’t need cash for any part of the wedding itself, everything from food and drinks to the evening’s festivities will be fully hosted. However, we will be having a traditional money dance for those who wish to take part. If you’d like to participate, please feel free to bring cash. Your presence and joy are what matter most, and any participation is completely optional.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We will not be providing transportation to or from the venue. The estate offers ample on‑site parking, making it easy for guests to arrive and depart at their convenience. Please feel free to drive or carpool, which ever you feel is most comfortable for you.

Question

Does the venue allow for overnight parking?

Answer

Yes, the venue does allow overnight parking. If you choose to leave your car, you may return to pick it up as early as 9:00 AM the following morning. We kindly ask that all vehicles be retrieved no later than 10:00 AM the following day. This helps the venue prepare for upcoming events and ensures everything runs smoothly. Per venue rules, any vehicles left on-site for more than 24 hours after the event start time will be towed at the owner’s expense.

Question

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Unfortunately, the venue is not wheelchair accessible, as there are no ADA‑compliant ramps or pathways on the property. We understand this may impact some guests, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. If you have accessibility needs or questions, please feel free to reach out! We’re here to help however we can.
