Welcome family and friends to our new beginning! We are getting married!

We met on the night of July 21st of 2020 at a mutual friends house. When it was time to leave, Makenzi offered to drive Ryan back to where his truck was parked since he had ridden with his friend. During the drive, they ended up at a red light and Ryan asked “What are you doing tonight?” In response, Makenzi said, “I was hoping to ride around for a bit.” They talked for hours while driving around town and Ryan offered to show her a spot for the sunrise. As they shared stories, laughter and waited for the sun to rise, it only seemed to get brighter outside with no sun in sight. He didn’t know a very good spot for a sunrise after all, but it sparked a light between them and that was the start of something new. Four months later, they were met with exciting news. They were expecting a baby boy that they named Journey. After trials and tribulations through the course of 5 years together, they have navigated, experienced, learned, and taught each other what love truly is. Two people who choose each other no matter what life throws their way. The beauty in joining everything they have and completing a life with two boys, a dog and a home to fulfill the rest of their lives together.
