As you all know, Grace and Nick go wayyy back—all the way to their sophomore and junior years at Santa Fe Christian High School. Their love story began with homecomings, proms, and parties, setting the stage for a connection that would stand the test of time. When Nick headed to CU Boulder, they decided their love was worth the challenge of long distance. After a year apart, Grace couldn’t resist the unbeatable charm of Boulder (or Nick) and joined him there. Together, they experienced the best of college life— skiing, camping, sorority and fraternity events, lifelong friendships, and all with the one and only Phoebe by their side. While they enjoyed their time in Boulder, their families were busy becoming just as close. Their moms became best friends and are now are unstoppable pickleball court, reminding Grace and Nick just how blessed they are to have families that already feel like one. Then came a new chapter: Grace set sail on Semester at Sea, leading to another stretch of long distance. While Grace traveled the world, Nick tackled his senior year at CU—doing his best to survive without Grace’s constant reminders to “be careful.” After graduating, Nick extended his “washed-up college life” just a little longer, visiting Grace and joining her for all the fun senior year had to offer. Fast forward to today, and they now live in Denver with not just Phoebe but their second pup, Rufus. Nick has officially mastered the art of supporting someone through an accelerated nursing program (seriously, props to him!). Now, they’re ENGAGED and counting down the days until they say “I do!”
