Question

Is this a bachelor/bachelorette trip?

Answer

Yes and no. While some activities will be reserved for just women or just men, many events will include everyone. This weekend is all about celebrating us with the friends and family we love and cherish.

Question

Whats the plan for accommodation and transportation?

Answer

Accommodation details will be provided once we have a confirmed headcount. Transportation will be primarily via the metro, with an estimated total cost of approximately $35 for the duration of the trip.

Question

When do you need confirmations by?

Answer

We kindly ask that all attendance confirmations (for both weekend celebration and elopement ceremony) be submitted by the end of May so we can plan accordingly.

Question

What will the weather be like, and what should I wear?

Answer

Day time temperatures are between the 60's-70's and cooler in the evenings. We recommend wearing light layers, comfortable shoes for walking, and a jacket or sweater for nighttime.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We’re keeping our celebration very intimate. Unfortunately, we’re unable to accommodate plus-ones unless they are specifically named on the invitation.

Question

I’d like to attend the celebration weekend, but I’m not interested in everything on the itinerary. Do I have to attend it all?

Answer

No! We understand that everyone has different interests, and you are welcome to join for just the activities you’d like.

Question

There are gaps in the schedule—what’s the plan during those times?

Answer

Those are free periods meant for sightseeing and exploring NYC. We want everyone to enjoy the city in a way that feels right for them while also celebrating with us throughout the weekend.

Question

Is there a dress code for the Celebratory Dinner?

Answer

Yes! Dinner will be held at One If By Land, Two If By Sea. The restaurant follows a dressy/smart-elegant dress code. Jackets are recommended for gentlemen, and guests are encouraged to dress up for the evening. For full details, please refer to the restaurant’s dress code here: https://www.oneifbyland.com/dress-code

Question

I'm unable to attend, are you doing anything outside of this trip to celebrate?

Answer

Absolutely! We’re planning a celebration in Pittsburgh after the New Year and would love to celebrate with those who can’t join us in NYC.

Question

!! NOTICE !!

Answer

This trip requires A LOT of walking. It's super important to bring comfortable shoes that are worn-in. Also, keep in mind personal habits, such as mid day naps/breaks. We created a detailed schedule to help with mental preparedness and comfortability.
