Sometimes the greatest love stories begin with perfect timing. Austin and Andrea’s story began in June 2019 with a simple match on Bumble, but it quickly became clear this connection was anything but ordinary. What started as casual texting soon turned into long FaceTime calls that stretched late into the night, often ending only when one of them fell asleep mid-conversation. From the beginning, there was an ease between them—a feeling that something rare and meaningful had been found. On July 6th, 2019, Austin officially asked Andrea to be his girlfriend. It was a small moment that marked the start of something life-changing. From that day on, they chose each other through growth, uncertainty, laughter, and every challenge that followed. Their first date in Ellenton was simple but unforgettable—wings, laughter, and conversation that flowed effortlessly. Andrea was nervous and tried to play it cool, but the moment she saw Austin, it just felt right. That night laid the foundation for a relationship built on comfort, honesty, and genuine friendship. As their relationship grew, life tested them in ways they never expected. They navigated COVID, job changes, school, and the growing pains of adulthood together. Through it all, they leaned on each other completely—becoming not just partners, but best friends, therapists (with plenty of laughs), shooting-range buddies, and shoulders to cry on. Love showed up in consistency, support, and choosing each other even on the hard days. The distance between Tampa and Sarasota wasn’t easy, but instead of pulling them apart, it brought them closer. Moving in together earlier than planned deepened their bond, teaching patience, compromise, and the beauty of everyday life. Quiet nights, shared routines, and simple moments became the heartbeat of their love. Over the years, they built a life full of memories—from annual Renaissance outings to camping at Weeki Wachee, yoga, sound baths, exploring Florida’s springs, and countless adventures together. Whether walking trails, kayaking, cooking, baking sourdough, watching shows, or playing video games, life was always better shared. Their greatest blessing came with the arrival of their puppy, Chloe. She brought a deeper, more selfless love than they ever imagined and made them better people. Watching Austin with Chloe and growing together as a family has been one of the most meaningful parts of their journey. After six incredible years, on Andrea’s 30th birthday at Fort Mountain State Park, with Chloe by his side, Austin asked Andrea to spend forever with him. While Andrea was taking a panoramic photo, she turned around to find him on one knee. Completely surprised, the answer was an easy yes. Guided by faith and grounded in love, Austin and Andrea are excited to say they will be saying “I do” next year.
