FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is semi-formal or semi-casual. We want our guests to feel comfortable and have the freedom to dress up if they wish. Additionally, we want to give you a heads-up about the possibility of mud or soft ground during the reception or the walk to the ceremony.

Question

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will take place outdoors, with a charming barn space reserved for food and dancing. We've also arranged tents and pavilion spaces for comfortable reception seating.

Question

Is there parking available at the wedding venue?

Answer

Look out for road signs guiding you to the designated driveway, and once you arrive, there will be additional signage and helpful individuals to assist in directing your car to the right spot!

Question

I have dietary restrictions/allergies. What's the best way to let you know?

Answer

Feel free to reach out to me directly for any dietary restrictions or special requests. You can contact me via BecomingBusams@gmail.com, and I'll be more than happy to ensure we accommodate your needs at the event.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?

Answer

We're aiming for an unplugged ceremony to fully embrace the moment. However, if you're using the BeReal app and it happens to go off, feel free to capture the moment. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Will there be alcohol served at the wedding?

Answer

We will not be serving alcohol at our wedding. We hope you enjoy the celebration with us and the various other refreshments we will have available!

Question

Are children invited to the wedding?

Answer

Yes, children are welcome at our wedding as long as they are listed on your invitation. We look forward to celebrating with your whole family!

Question

Can I bring a plus-one to the wedding?

Answer

Whoever is listed on your invitation is welcome to join. If your invitation specifies "and guest" or includes a plus-one, then you are welcome to bring a guest. Otherwise, we kindly ask that you attend solo. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Is there a nearby hotel for out-of-town guests?

Answer

While we haven't arranged specific hotel accommodations, we've provided two great hotel recommendations on our info page to help you with your stay. We hope this helps, and we look forward to celebrating with you!

Question

What time should I arrive at the wedding venue?

Answer

If you are invited to the ceremony, it starts promptly at 2:30. However, there's a short walk to get to the ceremony area, so we recommend arriving at least 15 minutes early to ensure you're settled in comfortably. For those invited to the reception, it kicks off at 5:00. It's a good idea to arrive about 15 minutes early to find your seating and get ready for the festivities to begin.

Question

What should I do if I am physically unable to walk to the ceremony location?

Answer

We understand that not everyone may be able to walk to the ceremony location. Rest assured, we will have transport vehicles ready to take whoever needs it. Please feel free to approach any of our volunteers or designated helpers on the day of the event, and we'll ensure you're accommodated accordingly.
