Play a round of mini golf on the Walker’s rooftop and enjoy a great view of the Minneapolis skyline. The Walker Art Center has many contemporary visual arts and design exhibitions. Also, make sure to check out the iconic “Spoonbridge and Cherry” at the Sculpture Garden.
• Bar La Grassa - A great choice for an Italian dinner out, but we recommend making a reservation. • Graze Provisions + Libations - A great food hall full of locally owned eateries with a great rooftop deck. • The Sonder Shaker - If you want to explore our neighborhood, this is a great spot. After lunch, stroll around St. Anthony Main on the water. • Centro - Casual taco and margarita spot. The restaurant is also near a few distilleries and breweries. • Revival - If you are in need for some southern comfort food, look no further. Make sure to try the fried chicken and ribs. • Broders’ Pasta Bar - This neighborhood pasta bar doesn't take reservations, but it's worth the wait. • Sebastian Joe's Ice Cream - Amazing homemade ice cream (Raspberry Chocolate Chip and Pavarotti are our favorites).
Both areas are on Lake Minnetonka and have great restaurants, local shops, ice cream shops, and a few breweries!
A day spent exploring breweries and distilleries is a day well spent. Below are some of our favorites: Breweries: Indeed Brewing, Able Seedhouse Brewery, Surly, Bauhaus Brew, and First Draft Taproom. Distilleries: Norseman Distillery & Tattersall Distilling. Noteworthy bars: Betty Danger's Country Club (take a ride on the ferris wheel), Psycho Suzi's (tiki themed), The rooftop bar & Young Joni Back Bar.
