The scene of the crime! On August 2, 2020, Austin finally popped the long awaited question - and quite a few of their incredible soup dumplings!
Aba may just be our new favorite restaurant. Nestled in South Congress, this restaurant has hummus better than you could ever believe. Be warned that reservations may be hard to land and you can expect a long wait if you just drop in. But we can promise that it will be worth it!
The brainchild of Aaron Franklin, the BBQ King, and Tyson Cole, of Uchi fame, Loro is an Asian-inspired smokehouse that is great for groups, big and small. They don't take reservations, but time flies when you are enjoying good company and a mango sake slushie in their outdoor bar and garden!
Red Ash holds a special place in our hearts. As avid pasta lovers, we have been here countless times. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, incredible staff, but most importantly - the best garlic bread in the state of Texas!
A perfect place to stop for a slice - heck, even a whole pie - as you enjoy the shops and views of South Congress.
Located on the up and coming East Side of Austin, Suerte is home to some of the greatest tacos we have ever had! Enjoy their Suadero Tacos, some mezcal, and maybe even a churro, before venturing out to explore East Austin
Back when we lived on South Lamar, we were frequent visitors to Fresa's and its beautiful patio. Casual, yet delicious, this place is a great spot to enjoy on a sunny day.
