Do I have to use your travel coordinator to book my stay?

Answer

No it's not limited. However, our travel coordinator requests the rooms to be together and other small perks to make your stay comfortable. In order to secure the group discount, you'll need to book through Destify Guest Services. Is there an adults only section?

Answer

Yes, the rooms labeled as Select Ocean Front and Select Superior are the adults only sections of the resort.

Do I need to have a passport?

Answer

Yes! You will need a passport to go to Playa del Carmen, Mexico. So make sure its up to date! As a general rule, your passport must be valid at least six months beyond the dates of an international trip. Note: New passport applications or renewals could take 6-8 weeks, unless expedited. Is the resort all inclusive?

Yes!! The rate already includes the hotel room, taxes, food, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks from the various restaurants on site, unlimited 24-hour room service, group activities, evening entertainment at the theatre, and more. No, but wedding guests that are not staying at Sandos Playacar will need to purchase a day pass with access to the resort from 9:00 AM- 11:00PM (USD $100/per person)

How long do I stay

Answer

That’s completely up to you. But please note, the resort requires a 3-night minimum for bookings. We will be staying for about a week. We’ll be exploring the resort, checking out local attractions near Playa del Carmen, and taking advantage of the many outdoor excursions Mexico has to offer. You really make the most out of it by making this destination wedding your vacation. Regardless how long you can stay, we are extremely grateful that you will be part of our special day. 🤍

Is there a payment plan to book the all inclusive room at Sandos Playacar?

Answer

Yes! You just need to pay that initial $150 deposit to reserve your room. You either do a payment plan of monthly deposits or a full payment. Either way, final payments are due 65 days before your departure date.

Do I need to get covid tested before traveling to Mexico, and back to United States?

Answer

It is not required to provide a negative test to enter Mexico, but it is recommended to stop the spread of infection. To enter back into United States, air travelers aged two and older, regardless of vaccination status, are required to show documentation of a negative viral test result taken within one day of the flight’s departure. Do I need to be covid vaccinated?

Answer

Our guests’ safety is the most important thing to us! While vaccinations are not required, we strongly encourage our guests guests to be fully vaccinated for our wedding. Masks will be provided throughout the entire event for those who are not vaccinated. Please feel comfortable choosing your own safety over the risk of attending this wedding. Let's all be safe and celebrate together!
