FAQs - Everything You Need to Know!

We've put together a few answers to the common questions we've been getting. Please check the info below to help you prepare for the big day! If you still have any questions please let us know.
Question

When are RSVP's due?

Answer

We'd love to know if you can make it ASAP! But, please RSVP by August 7, 2021. Any RSVP's not received by this date will be considered an RSVP "no". If this date has passed and you wish to attend, please email stbryant2020@gmail.com and we will try our best to accommodate you.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your kiddos - we really do! But we are having an adults only wedding. Consider this your night off! We are making an exception to celebrate with our nieces and nephews.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

We are keeping our wedding as intimate as possible and cannot accommodate a plus one for every guest. If your invitation says "2 seats reserved", then yes! If not, we appreciate you coming solo. Thank you for understanding!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal/cocktail attire, please. Suits, dark jackets, long dresses and cocktail dresses are welcome. We are having an outdoor wedding so choose your shoes wisely!

Question

Where is the wedding?

Answer

We're getting married at the Great Escape Parkside in Groveland, Florida about 30 minutes outside of Orlando. We've reserved the entire Estate for our wedding. The Great Escape Parkside is a game-themed estate with plenty of outdoors games and activities for our guests to enjoy at our Post-Wedding BBQ (see details below). There's also a large pool, lazy river, and hot tub! It's a fun space and we're excited to share it with you! Visit https://youtu.be/vFi8xSbIZ4A to check it out and see all it has to offer!

Question

Who do I contact on the day of the wedding if I have a question?

Answer

Short answer: anyone but the bride and groom! If you have any questions the day before or the day of the wedding, please do not reach out to the bride or groom. Instead, our ushers will be happy to help! Danielle Bryant and Amanda Lewis will be available the day of our wedding to guide you with parking, or answer any other questions you may have.

Question

Is there parking at the Estate?

Answer

Parking is limited at the Estate and will be available on a first-come basis. It can accommodate most of our guests, but if all spots are gone when you arrive please park alongside the driveway (just not on the grass, please). We recommend using a taxi or ride-share service (Lyft or Uber) to/from the venue - plus there's an open bar and we want to make sure you arrive safely!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We will begin welcoming our guests at 3:30pm (please no earlier), and our ceremony will start promptly at 4:00pm. Please plan to arrive at least 10-15 minutes early to allow for parking time and walking to the ceremony area (it's a large property).

Question

Do you have any hotel suggestions?

Answer

Yes! All the travel details you need are in the "travel" tab at the top of this page!

Question

Are you registered, and if so, where?

Answer

Yes, we are! Our registry information can be found in the "registry" tab at the top of this page.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Given that it's Florida, the weather is unpredictable. Generally, October evenings are cool and comfortable, though some years it's a bit chilly. If you're easily cold, you might consider bringing a jacket or light sweater. As the date nears, if it looks like rain we will add a tent to protect against the weather. Fingers crossed for the best!

Question

Are there other wedding events I'm invited to?

Answer

Yes! We are having a poolside potluck BBQ the day after the wedding! This way our guests can enjoy the pool and other activities that won't be available on our wedding day. Please visit the "schedule" tab at the top of this page for more info!

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Sort of! We are having an "unplugged ceremony" and therefore ask that you not take any photos or video during our ceremony. We promise to share all of our photographer's amazing pics with you afterwards! Once the ceremony is over, have at it! You'll have plenty of opportunity at the cocktail hour and reception to take as many photos as you'd like. Please use the hashtag #BecomingTheBryants so that we can easily find all your pictures and enjoy your photos too!

Question

Can I play the games inside the house during the wedding?

Answer

Unfortunately the house will only be accessible to the wedding party and staff on the day of the wedding. However, all wedding guests are invited to our Post-Wedding BBQ the day after the wedding where you'll be able to enjoy all of the games and activities that the house offers.

Question

Can I arrive early and change at the house?

Answer

We will have a full house with the wedding party and cannot accommodate additional guests at the house. The bride and groom are using the home to get dressed/prepare and every bedroom/bathroom will be occupied by the wedding party. To ensure the wedding starts on time we appreciate if you came to the wedding dressed and ready to go.

Question

What time should I arrive at the Post-Wedding BBQ?

Answer

The BBQ will start at 11am!

Question

The open bar got the best of me, can I crash at the house after the reception?

Answer

We're glad you enjoyed yourself! However, we have a strict max capacity for the house and it's already met with the wedding party. We will not have the capacity to accommodate extra guests. (Sorry, but we'd really like to get our deposit back!) If you think you'll need to spend the night, check out our suggested hotels in the Travel tab above!

Question

What will we be doing at the Post-Wedding BBQ?

Answer

This is your opportunity to enjoy the house we're staying in with the newlyweds! Each room is themed to a different game and has a large lazy river with endless games and activities throughout the property. So bring your bathing suit, towel, sunscreen and come prepared to have fun! Don't forget - it's potluck style so also bring your favorite dish! We can't wait to see you on the water slide!
