When should I RVSP?

We ask you to please RVSP by 1st January 2026.
Question
What time should I arrive?
Answer
We invite you to join the groom for a drink at The Beresford Arms from 11:30am. Alternatively, we ask you to please arrive at the venue no later than 12:30pm.

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
Our wedding is very intimate and we are only able to accommodate guests formally invited on your wedding invitation.

Can I take photos?
Answer
We would love our guests to be fully present during our wedding, so we ask no phones or cameras to be used please during the ceremony. However, in the evening, feel free to snap all the drunken pictures you'd like! We do ask that you do not share any pictures of the bride and groom on social media until we have had the opportunity to do so.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The wedding venue is entirely outdoors, however, we will have a marquee for our reception. Please prepare for the unpredictable British weather!

Please mark this on your RVSP for our wedding day.

I'd like to bring a wedding gift. How shall I do this?
Answer
We are so grateful to everyone who is coming to our wedding and joining us to celebrate. Instead of gifts, we ask if you could please contribute some food to our evening buffet! This can be anything at all and will help fuel us for more dancing! If you would still like to give a gift, we would be so appreciative for any contribution towards our honeymoon. A wedding card box will be available for this on the day, or we can provide bank details if you would like them.

Is there anything I need to bring to the wedding?
Answer
Apart from yourselves and good vibes, we would love it if you could bring a food contribution to our evening buffet - sausage rolls, Doritos, anything!

Is transportation provided?
Answer
We will be providing coach travel for 50 guests from Whitley Bay to the venue. If you would like this, please mark so on your RSVP. Coach travel will be provided on a first come first serve basis, and we will contact you to let you know. The coach will depart from 11:00am from The Links - Eastbourne Gardens Bus Stop (NE26 1PS). If you would like coach travel, please indicate this in your RVSP. This will be on a first come first serve basis and we will contact you to let you know.
