FAQs

Question

Where is the wedding?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be at the Legacy on Eighteen Mile Creek in Hamburg, NY.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is a very large parking lot connected to the venue.

Question

Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors (uncovered). However, if weather is a concern, there will be an outdoor, covered/screened-in option.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail/semi-formal attire is appropriate. The venue has both air conditioning and heating, so we’ll be comfortable regardless of the Buffalo weather we’re blessed with that day.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Tricia & Rick have completed their registry! You can access it by clicking the 'Registry' tab on this website."

Question

May I take photos?

Answer

We have hired an amazing photographer to capture all of our special moments. Specifically for the ceremony, we would really love it if everyone kept their cameras and phones down to be fully present with us. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many pictures and videos as you'd like! We only ask that you remain mindful of our photographer and avoid obstructing her shots. Additionally, any photos or videos you take can be shared with us by uploading them using the QR code available around the venue—we can’t wait to see them!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If you are invited to bring a plus one, it will be indicated as "and guest" on your wedding invitation. Invitations will be sent out in August 2025. If you have any questions before then, please reach out to Tricia.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We’ve made the thoughtful decision to invite only a few children to the wedding — specifically those named on the invitations. We’ve chosen to include just a few kids we’re especially close to, such as immediate family or children we share a strong connection with. Please note that no childcare will be provided, so we kindly ask that any children attending are closely supervised. To help keep the atmosphere enjoyable for all, we ask that disruptions be minimized during key moments like the ceremony, speeches, and first dances. That said, we completely understand if you’d prefer to treat this event as a date night and leave the kiddos at home — whatever works best for your family is fully supported. If your children are included in your invite, we’ll be so happy to celebrate with them!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Wedding invitations will be sent out in August 2025, with a request to RSVP by September 2025. The exact RSVP deadline will be shared on your invitation.
