Why are the wedding ceremony and the wedding reception two different weekends?

Answer

Getting married at Pretty Place Chapel at sunrise has been a dream of Kristen's since she was very young. We decided to have our reception a couple weeks later in Timmonsville so that our celebration could be more accessible to family and friends who cannot make the trip to Pretty Place Chapel, but would still like to celebrate with us.

Do you expect guests to attend both events?

Answer

We would be honored to celebrate with you at both our ceremony on December 5, 2026 at Pretty Place Chapel, and our reception on December 19, 2026 at The Cabin at Old Spur. We understand that the dates are two weeks apart, and your presence at either celebration means so much to us.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

You can begin arriving at Pretty Place Chapel as early as 6 AM for our sunrise wedding. We ask that everyone is in their seats by 6:45 AM. The ceremony will begin at 7 AM.
