We met when a mutual friend invited us both to her housewarming party, knowing we would be the only two single people there. Naturally, we started chatting and quickly bonded over our shared love of Jason Segel and his integral role in How I Met Your Mother. At the end of the night we exchanged phone numbers and the rest is history!

It was on our annual fourth of July trip to Pine Knoll Shores, NC to spend the holiday with some of our closest friends, who we often refer to as "the fam". The entire group was in on an elaborate scheme to have a "group picture night". After a full day on the beach, the girls went home to get dressed and pick up dinner, while the boys decorated the dock and prepared the scene. Upon arriving home from picking up dinner we walked out on the dock at sunset; he asked, she said yes!
