We're really doing it this time!

So as you all know, our story is a riff on traditional, and we'd have it no other way. The first time I met Scott, I was interviewing him for a job at my former company. And I passed on him! Maybe it was the sweater vest or his unabashed confidence in his Product ability - or maybe I was just intimidated by his dimple and blue eyes! To make a long story short, I was overruled and Scott and I began our story of working together, and eventually falling in love and deciding to make a real go at it with dating, engagement, step-parenting, marriage, house, and now, a brand new baby. After meeting (and getting passed on by Julie) I simply couldn't get her out of my mind. I knew I had to get her overruled and found myself working with a woman who magnetically drew me into her eyes with her brilliance, care, and semi-tallness. Our story and love is as old as time. Man falls for woman, woman is skeptical of the sheer amount of his body hair, and the rest is history. Body hair aside, I found my happiness in the life we built together from our first date, meeting and co-parenting Edie & Max, marriage, a house (with dumb dog), and now baby Maren. We can't wait to celebrate our love post-nuptially with you all! The last five years have been incredible in so many ways and we've tried a few times to organize our celebration in Sonoma, only to be thwarted by life's events. But not this time! We will be finally able to gather all of our family and friends in a place that is so special to us - and celebrate our love.
