We met through mutual friends right before COVID-19 hit. Our first date ended up being at Yesterday’s so that we could watch football and drink beer. He couldn’t believe he found a girl that liked beer and football! What he came to find out was Sara did not really care about all the different football teams so much as beating her brothers in fantasy football and watching the Houston Texans ;) She didn’t know much about teams or player stats and he hated her choice in football team but she was cute so it was ok. 

Sara knew pretty quickly he was her forever…Travis took a little longer. He kept telling her 5 years but 2.5 years and two football seasons later he realized he would never find another girl quite as amazing as her and decided to pop the question. On her family’s Frio River trip he gave her river rocks all weekend before finally giving her the rock she had been waiting on! Thank God he didn’t drop it in the river!
