Although we like to joke that we met twice, our story really begins long before either of us realized it. From his perspective, it started back in 2021 during college. Through quiet interactions, familiar faces, and small moments, the Lord was weaving our paths together. From her perspective, the real beginning was in 2023, working side by side, learning each other’s rhythms, humor, and hearts. Over the next two years, the Lord built something neither of us expected; a friendship that became the steady highlight of each day. Whether it was conversations at work, laughter-filled game nights, movie nights with friends, or small moments of encouragement, God was gently writing something beautiful. Our families and close friends saw it even before we did. They prayed, hinted, encouraged, and patiently waited as the Lord continued to grow our friendship into something deeper. By the time our first date happened on Friday the 13th, it felt both exciting and familiar—like the start of something new wrapped in something wonderfully known. We walked away from that night knowing this was special. After a year of dating, countless memories, and God’s unmistakable leading, Corbin proposed on October 10th. With full hearts and gratefulness for the journey God has taken us on, we joyfully step into this next chapter—trusting the Lord always.
