What should I wear?

Answer

It’s “farm formal” wear something you will be comfortable in being outside in late July! There will be some covered areas, but wear grass appropriate shoes.

What is the parking?

There will be designated parking, at the farm. It is not valet.

What is the bathroom situation?

There will be porta-potty supplied.

Is there power?

Answer

There is very little power, come prepared for not having electricity available. It would be helpful to bring portable batteries for phone charging, head lamps, other necessities or electrical luxury you might want.

When does it end?

Answer

The wedding will follow into a campout for whoever is interested. So after dinner at 6 pm, and cake, whenever people are ready to leave they can at their own pace. We noted an “after party” starts at 8pm.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Kids are more than welcome, it is a safe place for kids to run and play and look at animals through a fence. Dogs are on the property for all who need to be aware.

Can I bring a date?

Yes, if you are invited you get a plus one.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

No, you just supply your own ride to the farm and from the farm. It is in town of cottage grove.

Will there be alcohol supplied?

Answer

We will supply beer and wine. After 8pm it is a Bring Your Own Party Supplies.

Our wedding will be smoker and alcohol friendly. We want everyone to have a good time, but also a safe time. So people that could potentially be offended of this scenario be prepared.
