Dylan and Haley met in high school during their Sophomore Year. While in the same math class, Dylan asked Haley for help on a worksheet, but she turned away and hid her paper, thinking that Dylan just wanted to copy her work. While it may not have been love at first sight, Dylan and Haley spent a lot more time together during Senior Year which led Dylan to ask Haley to prom.... twice! From walking to class together to riding Haunted Mansion at Grad Nite and finally cheering each other on at graduation, Haley and Dylan officially started dating in July of 2018.

Dylan and Haley started dating one month before they were about to leave for college. Dylan attended UC Berkeley and Haley attended Azusa Pacific University which made for a long 4 years of long distance but also very fun trips to San Francisco and Los Angeles to see each other. They ate fish and chips and Ghirardelli sundaes by Fisherman's Wharf and spent the nights line dancing and binge watching "Dance Moms" in Azusa. Many Facetimes later, Haley and Dylan could not be happier about living in the same city now and getting to see each other every day.

During the first week of June in 2024, Haley and Dylan celebrated Haley's grandma's 80th birthday with her family in Oceanside, CA. Haley's grandma's big gift was that the entire family was going to get professional pictures taken on the beach. In the middle of the photoshoot, the photographer suggests taking photos of just Haley and Dylan. For one shot, she turned Haley and Dylan away from each other. When Haley turned back around, Dylan was on one knee and asked if she would marry him. In shock, all Haley could say back was "really?" as all her friends and family jumped out from their hiding spots to congratulate them. Haley and Dylan can't wait for what their future holds and are excited to celebrate with all of you!
