The bride and the groom’s story starts on March 4, 2017 - an evening destined to be unforgettable for two very different reasons. At the time, the bride was enjoying a sushi dinner with her boyfriend at the time, while the groom was out with friends. His buddies suddenly decided to go get wings to continue their night of fun, however a car accident intervened. Meanwhile, as the bride savored her meal, her boyfriend received a call that rushed them to the hospital. It was there, amidst the chaos, that their paths first crossed. The groom later recalled that night as the moment he knew he was destined to marry her, while the bride humorously remembers is as the evening her sushi date was interrupted by a group of reckless friends. Fast forward three years, while reconnecting with old friends, the bride texted our groom to see how he was doing. At that point, she was juggling the challenges of nursing school (a chapter she now jokes about) and two jobs, while the groom was thriving with work and embracing the vibrancy of his early twenties. That single conversation sparked a connection that would soon grow into something lasting a life time. During the lockdown, our couple found themselves together nearly every day - a forced intimacy with the pandemic that only deepened their bond. In 2022, they took a significant step by moving into their first apartment, spending the next two years learning about each other’s quirks and the joys of shared living. Then came New Year’s Eve 2024. Opting for a quiet night at home, they turned in to watch the New York City’s celebration on TV. As the countdown began and the ball dropped, the groom knelt down and proposed. With tears of joy, the bride said yes, marking the beginning of their engagement journey. Over the following year, they explored numerous wedding venues and ceremony ideas, yet nothing in the traditional style truly captured their unique spirit. Now, the couple has decided on an intimate ceremony with their parents and closest friends, followed by a lively, lighthearted reception. After all, why wait? They’re already practically married - sharing a vehicle, cats, and moving into a new apartment this August. With great excitement, the bride and groom invite you to continue this story with them on May 2nd 2025, at Back Bay’s Farmhouse - 6:00pm sharp. They cannot wait to celebrate with you as they begin their next chapter into married life.
