Travel

The Wedding Website of Claire Branch and Michael Branch
New Orleans gets busy in the spring, so for those of you traveling from out of town it's ideal to make your travel plans soon. We haven't blocked hotel rooms because our favorite spots are more local, smaller options. We've done our best to identify a variety of lodging options to accommodate your taste and all of them are centrally located for the weekend's events. Both AirBnB and VRBO have great options Uptown and in the Garden District neighborhoods.

Hotel

Hotel Saint Vincent

1507 Magazine Street, New Orleans, LA 70130

One of our favorite spots.A stylish boutique hotel in a beautifully restored historic building (originally an orphanage from 1861), with a cool, modern design and several food/drink options, pool, and evocative interiors. On the upper end of boutique — distinctive experience, so pricing is toward the higher side of mid-boutique.

Hotel

The Chloe

4125 Saint Charles Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70115

A smaller boutique jewel in a restored Uptown mansion with modern Southern hospitality — think stylish rooms, outdoor pool, bar/patio, intimate vibe. This is boutique to upper-boutique pricing: an elevated stay without going full luxury. Located on St. Charles Avenue and also has a great porch for a meal or cocktails on the Avenue.

Hotel

The Eliza Jane (Hyatt)

315 Magazine Street, New Orleans, LA 70130

A chic, boutique hotel made from nine historic warehouse buildings, The Eliza Jane blends French Quarter charm with modern design—think exposed brick, lush foliage, and elegant touches that nod to its storied past. It tends toward the mid-to-upper price range—fancier than basic chain hotels but a more accessible luxury than full-blown high-end resorts

Hotel

The Columns Hotel

3811 Saint Charles Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70115

A restored 1880s mansion on St. Charles Avenue with elegant detailing, a historic vibe, and a relaxed, romantic atmosphere. Affordability leans mid-to-upper — more boutique charm than budget, but you get a lot for the aesthetic and location. It’s right in the Garden District on St. Charles Ave -- definitely enjoy a drink on the front porch enjoying the charm of the Avenue!

Hotel

The Celestine

727 Toulouse Street, New Orleans, LA 70130
 (504) 332-2200

The Celestine is a stylish boutique hotel tucked into the heart of the French Quarter, just steps from most of the weekend’s events. The intimate property blends historic New Orleans character with modern design and includes a lush courtyard, offering an elegant retreat amid the city’s energy.

Hotel

Hampton Inn St. Charles Avenue/Garden District

3626 Saint Charles Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70115

A solid, mid-range hotel: modern, clean rooms with good amenities (free breakfast, fitness, etc.), reliable and convenient. One of the more budget-friendly options while still being comfortable. Right in the Garden District on St. Charles Avenue.

Hotel

The Blackbird Hotel

1612 Prytania Street, New Orleans, LA 70130

Smaller boutique option with funky design, comfortable rooms, and charming courtyard pool. A small, design-forward boutique hotel with each room uniquely appointed, with a quiet, residential feel. Pricing is boutique-style: more affordable than luxury hotels but above basic chain hotels.

Hotel

The Windsor Court

300 Gravier Street, New Orleans, LA 70130

A high-luxury hotel, offering spacious rooms and suites with elegant, classic décor, a full-service spa, roof-top pool, upscale dining options, and very attentive service. It’s among the more expensive hotel options—think top tier of boutique & luxury stays.

Hotel

Four Seasons Hotel New Orleans

2 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA 70130

A high-end, luxury hotel in a 34-story tower with stunning views of the Mississippi River, upscale dining, a rooftop pool, spa, and elegant rooms designed for comfort and style. It’s at the top end on pricing and the newest of the more luxury options. If you stay here, you must visit the champagne bar in the lobby!
