Maid of Honor

Marta and Ashley may be very different but they clicked from the first moment they spoke back in 2016 in the rugby locker room. Ashley and Marta solidified their friendship at a rugby tournament in Newport Rhode Island in 2017 and have been close ever since. Marta, a Boston girl through and through, now works and lives in James Bay as a elementary school teacher. The distance has only brought the pair closer. This Massachusetts native always brings the party and a much-needed dose of honesty, and has always been like a sister to the bride.

Paul Bracy

Best Man

Paul has been Andrew’s chief partner in mischief from Day 1. As the younger brother of the groom, he is something of a two-for-one special in terms of having both a wise-cracking devil and an informative angel on your shoulders at the same time. In all seriousness, Andrew may be a couple years older but he wouldn’t be where he is without Paul. This is one best man whose character truly represents the best in all men.

Sheyann Foshey

Maid of Honor

Sheyann and Ashley met in 2019 at a "Bunny Hop" in Sherbrooke, Qc (if you know, you know) while pursuing their studies at Bishop's University. They then met again once or twice the following year before really becoming friends in the later half of 2020. Today, Sheyann and Ashley bond over their common intellectual interests, indigeneity, and idealist views of social structures and culture. Sheyann, hailing from South-Eastern Ontario is completing her Master's at the University of Alberta in Edmonton. Always the thoughtful and kind soul of the group, she can make anyone feel grounded and good while always being able to bring people together to have a good time.

Adam Bracy

Best Man

Before there could be an Andrew, there naturally had to be an Adam. Such is the natural (and biblical) order of things in the Bracy family. As the first and foremost mentor to the groom, Adam walked, stomped, sprinted, skated, and thumped so that Andrew could one day run. Just as there wouldn’t be an Andrew without Paul, there most definitely wouldn’t be one without Adam (literally, he once stopped me from trying to do a skateboarding stunt off the patio roof). A consummate loyal brother who goes above and beyond for his loved ones, Andrew truly won the older sibling lottery with Adam.

Eva Bracy

Bridesmaid

Eva and Ashley met in 2019 at Thanksgiving in Plattsburgh, NY. They have since become very close and consider each other sisters, with or without both marrying into the Bracy family. Eva married Paul Bracy, Andrew's little brother on August 10th, 2024, and also had Ashley by her side when they married. Eva, always the life if the party, has been an important and special friend for Ashley through the years and she could not imagine doing this without her.

Ian Thomas

Groomsman

Among the first people Andrew got to know at Norwich University, Ian - better known as “IT” - has been a true friend to the groom ever since their days in college, especially as teammates on the lacrosse field. One of the friendliest souls you’ll ever meet, Ian & Andrew’s friendship has evolved through being coworkers, colleagues, and even sports commentators together. A true friend with a giving spirit, Andrew is immensely grateful to have a friend like IT by his side.

Amanda Bracy

Bridesmaid

Amanda was one of the first people to welcome Ashley into the Bracy family back in 2018, when she and her husband Adam lived in Burlington, VT. Ashley took a liking to Amanda's sweet and kind attitude early on and they quickly became support people for one another. Amanda, now living in Pittsburgh, PA, can always be counted on to be positive and optimistic in any situation. Always down for anything and along for the ride, Ashley and Amanda are happy to finally be able to call each other sisters.

Jack Spallone

A fellow Upstate NY guy who wears his heart on his sleeve, Andrew is extremely lucky to have a friend like Jack. Their enthusiasm for the game of lacrosse and coaching the next generation is but one of many things they share a passion for. The newest addition of the groomsmen to Andrew & Ashley’s lives, Jack is exactly the kind of friend that anyone would feel fortunate to have in their corner. He and his lovely wife Amanda have made the bride and groom feel like family ever since they met. Ever since, he has always been there as both a colleague and mentor to the groom.
