The summer of 2014 was the start of something big—college at VCU and, more importantly, us. We first met during first-year orientation at a casual get-together. Brittany decided to try pool for the first time, and Malik stepped in to help. Let’s just say her skills were a work in progress, but Malik stuck around, and we bonded over laughter and lighthearted competition. We thought that was the end of it, but in God’s perfect timing, our paths crossed again. A few days later, we spotted each other at a party and later at a dorm meet-and-greet. This time, we talked—and kept talking. Late-night conversations turned into an amazing friendship, and by October 2015, we officially became a couple. Now, 10 years later, we’ve built a love stronger than we could’ve imagined, filled with adventures, laughter, and unforgettable memories. As we step into this next chapter, we pray for God to guide us through our wedding experience and bless our marriage with love, patience, and unwavering faith.
