Like a lot of people these days, we met on Bumble. After a quick chat, Maria made the first move and asked Ben out. So, while Ben seemed a little off (he wasn’t eating much and kept going to the bathroom, which Maria assumed was a stomach ache), she was busy devouring her meal and even ate his potatoes after a long run. Because her jeans were tight, Maria unbuttoned them and covered it with her shirt, completely unaware of what was coming. After brunch, as they were walking around Seaport, they ran into Camila and Carol—who were actually part of the plan to capture the moment with photos. Ben suddenly asked, 'Do you know what’s happening?' Maria was totally clueless. Then, Ben got down on one knee and, overwhelmed with emotion, started crying—he even forgot to actually propose! After a quick breather, he finally asked the big question. And here’s the funny part: because Maria had unbuttoned her jeans, you can actually see it in some of the proposal photos!
