Seeking a new adventure, Ivana decided to study abroad in Angers, France. It was her first time alone in a new country, and out of curiosity, she downloaded Tinder just to see what French men looked like ;). After some mindless swiping, she matched with Timothé—if only it were that simple! After ignoring his first two messages, Ivana finally replied when Timothé sent one last text. She found him charming, and their conversation took off. After a few weeks of chatting and three canceled first dates (all Tim's fault), they finally met. The connection was instant, and they became inseparable—until Ivana had to return to the U.S. to finish her studies. What followed was two and a half years of long distance, countless flights back and forth to spend the holidays together, and 11 long months apart due to the COVID travel ban. But at the end of 2021, Ivana took the leap and moved to Lille, France to join Timothé. After six incredible years of love, growth, and unforgettable memories, Timothé proposed on August 13, 2024, in Ponza, Italy, at the Michelin-starred Acqua Pazza Ristorante during a breathtaking sunset. Their journey has been filled with challenges and triumphs, proving the strength of their love. S’ensuivirent deux ans et demi de relation à distance, d’innombrables vols aller-retour pour passer les fêtes ensemble et onze longs mois de séparation en raison de l’interdiction de voyager liée au COVID. Mais fin 2021, Ivana sauta le pas et s’installa à Lille, en France, pour rejoindre Timothé. Après six merveilleuses années d’amour, d’évolution et de souvenirs inoubliables, Timothé fit sa demande en mariage le 13 août 2024, à Ponza, en Italie, au restaurant étoilé Michelin Acqua Pazza, lors d’un coucher de soleil à couper le souffle. Leur parcours a été jalonné de défis et de victoires, prouvant la force de leur amour. Aujourd’hui, ils sont comblés à l’idée de commencer ce nouveau chapitre en tant que mari et femme.
