Minnesota State Fair
The Minnesota State Fair is a CLASSIC and runs from August 21-September 1! We love attending for the live music and delicious food. Some of our favorite treats include fried Cajun pickles from The Perfect Pickle, Mouth Trap cheese curds, crispy fries from Fresh French Fries, and freshly roasted corn from Corn Roast. Kevin stops to get at least five glasses of the freshest milk at the All You Can Drink Milk Stand.
Lord Fletcher's Old Lake Lodge
Lord Fletcher's is one of our favorite summer spots on Lake Minnetonka. With live music most nights, great frozen drinks, and stunning lake views, it’s hard to beat! And if you haven’t tried seasoned sour cream yet, this is the place to do it!
Maynards
Maynards is a Lake Minnetonka classic! With the best lake views, delicious food, and a huge patio, it’s always a great time. Their seasoned sour cream and waffle fries are a must-try. Oh, and have you played pull tabs before?
Adele's Frozen Custard
Adele's is our go-to date spot in the summer. Kevin always gets the chocolate concrete mixer with Butterfinger, while Jessie sticks with the vanilla concrete mixer loaded with Oreo and sprinkles.
The Monte Carlo
These are hands down the best wings in Minnesota! We bring all our visitors here and hope you get a chance to stop by during your visit to Minnesota. Make sure to also get their refreshing blood orange martini, too!
Bar La Grassa
If you like pasta, look no further! Their orange gnocchi is unreal—you won’t be disappointed! We recommend making a reservation well in advanced, as it is a tough spot to get a seat.
Parlour
Parlour Bar has a great speak-easy vibe and one of our favorite smash-burgers in the city. If you love burgers, get one here!
