Do I have to stay at the resort to attend the wedding?
Answer
Yes, guests must stay at the resort (three night minimum stay) in order to attend all the wedding festivities.

Are there any exceptions to the adults-only rule?
Answer
No, the resort and wedding events are strictly adults-only. The policy is set by the venue, and unfornately, we cannot make exceptions.

How long should I stay?
Answer
Our main wedding events will take place over three days (three night minimum stay), but we encourage guests to stay longer if you'd like to turn it into a vacation!

What's included at the resort?
Answer
The resort is all-inclusive, which means your stay includes food, drinks (including alcohol), entertainment and access to resort amenities.

Can I visit the Xcaret Parks?
Answer
When you stay at Hotel Xcaret Arte, you get access to all of the Xcaret parks (Xcaret, Xel-Ha, Xplor, Xplor Fuego, Xavage, Xoximilco), Xenotes and Xichen tours & Xcaret Xailing (ferry to Isla Mujeres). All transportation is included. Some parks and tours require a prior reservation. Please contact Shoreline Destinations our travel coordinators for more information!

Is there a dress code for each of the events?

Welcome White Party: bring your best all white outfit Cermony/Cocktail Hour/Reception: Beach Chic (colorful cocktail dresses, jumpsuits) *Men leave the polos at home. Ties and bowties aren’t required. We want everyone to feel stylish but comfortable in the tropical setting of Hotel Xcaret Arte. Think light, breezy & elevated!

Do I need a passport?
Answer
Yes! Since the wedding is outside the U.S., a valid passport is required. Make sure yours is up to date well in advance.

Will transportation be provided from the airport to the resort?
Answer
Runs every 30 minutes from 9 AM – 5 PM & every 60 minutes from 5 PM – 9 AM Guests must present their boarding pass to board Available only on confirmed arrival and departure dates Shoreline Destinations our travel coordinators will help make sure you are on your way to the resort from the airport in no time!

Can I bring a plus-one?

If your invitation includes a plus-one, you’re welcome to bring a guest! Please refer to your invite for details.
Question
Do I have to wear my Xcaret wristband to the wedding festivities?
Answer
No, HOWEVER...each guest must keep their wristband with them at all times — think of it like a set of keys. It’s required for ordering food and drinks, and it also serves as the key to your hotel room. IMPORTANT NOTE: the cost for a lost wristband is $250
