We’re Getting Married!

We met at the Lake Geneva beach last June through a friend of ours and then hung out nearly every day that summer. We became close friends and soon discovered we had a really deep connection.... we ended up finding just what we needed in each other. (:

Life has been pretty wild! Looking for opportunities and stability, we moved out together to a cabin up north because things were difficult where we were. We had friends that were not truthful, financial struggles, and living situations that were weighing us down. We worked at a lumber mill starting out but then found that the cabin was not suitable for living in anymore due to many reasons, so we had no choice but to leave. At the right moment, God answered our prayers by providing us with a new home that was offered to us by Michael's Nana. She also gave me my beautiful ring which was not expected! We ended up moving around some more and in the process of finding stability we found the opportunity to work at Amazon and my Dad offered to have us come to live at home which is where we are at now. Throughout our journey of moving from place to place, we had to learn how to get along and work together while also depending on God for what we needed. We are thankful to Him and for everyone that came by our side to help support us when things were difficult. God has been there through it all and we are excited to see how He will shape our lives for the future!

We moved in with Nana in January and Michael had expressed to her that His plan was to propose to me. She gave him her engagement ring and soon after he asked me to marry him at a sushi restaurant in Waukesha! Living in New Berlin at the time, Waukesha was not far away and I had told him I loved this city because that's where I went to school for a year and had created a lot of memories. It was very special that he brought me here and now we're getting to have our wedding here as well!
