We’re Getting Married!

Alex and Maddie have known each other for nearly their entire lives, attending the same elementary, middle, and high schools. Alex’s crush on Maddie began in the fifth grade, and in 2012, the two briefly dated—for a grand total of one hour! Although they remained close over the years, they didn’t truly rekindle their friendship until the fall of their senior year. On September 21, 2019, during homecoming night, Alex confessed that his crush on Maddie had never faded and vowed that he would marry her someday. Since that night, they’ve been inseparable. They officially began dating on October 5, 2019, but the twenty-first night of September continues to hold a special place in their hearts. After five wonderful years, Alex and Maddie are not only more in love than ever but have also become each other’s best friend. On May 20, 2024, Alex proposed to Maddie during a beach picnic on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. The couple shared, “It couldn’t have been more perfect—it was so us.” They can’t wait to spend the rest of their lives together and are thrilled to celebrate the beginning of their marriage with you on September 20, 2025!
