Bridesmaid Kayleigh has been known to be quite the matchmaker for her friends, and this statement couldn't be truer for our perfect match Darcie and Frank. When Kayleigh first met Frank, she knew he would be a great match for her best friend, so she worked her magic and exchanged information between the two. At the time Frank was getting prepared for his first military base assignment in Seoul, Korea. Unfortunately the two never got the opportunity to meet, however the distance did not hinder the spark between our two love birds. Over the course of Frank's year long term in Korea their friendship and care for one another continued to grow stronger with each day that passed through long daily messages, sweet care packages, and early morning video chats. They both quickly learned that there was something different about each other, and they were very special to one another. Soon Frank was notified that it was time for his next base location in Valdosta, Ga, landing him only 3 hours away from Darcie. Finally the two were able to meet for the first time and Darcie describes the moment as a scene from a fairy tail. It wasn't very long after that when Frank invited Darcie to a beach trip down in Jacksonville, FL to officially ask her to become his girlfriend.
It was a long day of work for Darcie and just as it was time to end her shift, an emergency patient was added on to her schedule that needed to have a CAT scan that evening which meant that she would need to stay late. Once completed, Darcie also needed to pick up a few thing from the store. It was a Friday night, so there was no rush. Little did she know Frank was patently waiting for her to arrival home with the biggest surprise of her life! Frank had been busy all day preparing and planning the perfect proposal to ask her to become his wife! Finally, once Darcie arrived home she opened the door to first hear Dean Martin's 'That's Amore' playing in the back ground, as the door slowly opened more she noticed a large gorgeous bouquet of flowers on the living room coffee table, then as the door opened more, she noticed more roses on the fireplace mantle with a wooden sign created by Frank saying "Will you marry me, Darcie?" With the door fully opened, there was Frank in the doorway on one knee with the most beautiful ring in hand as he asked Darcie the best question of her entire life. Without any hesitation and eyes full of tears, she said-YES!
