The Kiltie Drive-In
Swing by one of our favorite summer staples, The Kiltie, for a milkshake and a burger! This old-school seasonal drive-in has been a long standing prize possession of Oconomowoc and one of our mandatory lunch breaks during a lake day.
Downtown Oconomowoc
The land of five O's has no shortage of great restaurants, shops and bars. Some of our favorites downtown are Et Cetera, North 48, Fiesta Cancun, Bella Gusto and Crafty Cow followed by Mullen's for some ice cream. Highly recommend getting a picture with the Tin Man while you're here!
Lac La Belle and Fowler Lake
After you check out downtown Ocon, take one of our favorite strolls around Fowler and La Belle.
The Club at Lac La Belle
Oconomowoc is home to one Wisconsin's finest golf courses; highly recommend to anyone looking to hit the links around the weekend.
Lapham Peak
Check out one of Wisconsin's prettiest views and woodland trails (and where we got engaged)!
Downtown Delafield
Downtown Delafield has plenty of great spots to check out as well for food and shopping; some of our favorites include the Belfre, El Mito, Lumber Inn and Revere's. Make sure to stop by Clearwater Outdoor or Wingman Gifts to treat yoself!
Nashotah Park
A hiking staple for the Mortonson's during the summer months! Fun fact: These nature trails are home to natural lake system, an oak forest, an oak savanna, a cedar glade AND a floating leaf marsh. Don't forget your bird book! Happy exploring!
