A Labor Day weekend trip to Surfside Beach, South Carolina in 2021 turned into the beginning of our story. What started as a fun vacation with friends quickly became something more when we crossed paths. Our friend groups spent the weekend together and we instantly clicked. After vacation, Gaby moved to Hoboken, New Jersey, while Drew returned to Arlington, Virginia - but we stayed in touch! Just two weeks later, Drew visited Gaby in Jersey, and two more weeks after that, Gaby made the trip to Arlington. It didn't take long for us to realize this was something special, and we officially started dating. After three years of long distance - two from Jersey to DC and one from Jersey to Chattanooga - we finally closed the distance and moved into our first home together in Nashville, Tennessee to start this next chapter. One year later (and one adopted German Shepherd later), Drew proposed on September 6th, 2025 with the help of our families and closest friends - almost exactly one year after Gaby moved to Tennessee. We love our unique story and feel so lucky to celebrate this next chapter with all of you on our special day!
